How uBelong is meant to be used.
Effective 5 September 2026. These terms cover the uBelong parent app, the uBelong Academy app for children, and this website. By using them, you agree to what follows.
Who you are agreeing with

What uBelong is — and is not
- uBelong provides educational, strengths-first decision support for children who need learning support, delivered by our AI special educator, Annie, and supervised by human specialists.
- It is not a diagnosis, a medical device, therapy, or a substitute for professional care. Reports and plans are a starting point to review with a qualified professional you trust.
- It is not an emergency service. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
Who may use it
- You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of the child you add — or someone that parent has invited to their care circle.
- Children do not hold accounts. The child's iPad app runs under the parent's account and is used with an adult nearby.
- Keep your password to yourself; tell us at once if you think someone else has it.
- Schools, clinics and specialists use uBelong under their own separate written agreement.
Your content
The reports, photos, videos and notes you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them for the purposes you consented to — including sending the relevant parts to the service providers named in our privacy notice — so that uBelong can do its job. Please only add material you have the right to share.
AI, and the person behind it
- Annie drafts and delivers; a named human specialist reviews her work and decides. Nothing is certified as mastered, and no plan changes, without a person.
- AI can be wrong. Treat what you read as a starting point, and tell us when something is not right about your child — press and hold it in the app and a person reviews it.
- A person can pause Annie for your child at any time, and so can you.
No guarantees of outcome
We do not promise admission to any school, a particular level of progress, or any specific result. We promise honest measurement, human supervision, and to tell you plainly when something is not working.
What it costs
- The uBelong apps are free to use during our launch phase. There are no purchases inside the apps.
- Human services — speech and occupational therapy, a classroom aide, school SEN operations, clinical time — are arranged with you separately and are not sold through the apps.
- If we introduce pricing in future, we will tell you before it applies to you.
Using it properly
- Use uBelong only for a child you are responsible for, and only for their support.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anyone else's records without their permission.
- Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the service, or to extract other families' data.
- We may suspend an account that puts a child or the service at risk, and we will tell you why.
Ending it
You can stop at any time and delete your account and your child's records from Settings. A person confirms an erasure with you before it runs, and then it is permanent. We may end an agreement for the reasons above, or if we stop offering the service — with notice, and with time to take your records with you.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, uBelong is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Decisions about a child's education, health and care remain yours, taken with the professionals you trust.
Governing law
Agreements with uBelong Inc. are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction. Agreements with UBELONG PTE LTD are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
